I believe we can enhance our lives by including beauty, by surrounding ourselves with inspirational objects and design, wearing clothes that flatter us and inspire confidence, having haircuts that make us smile and stand taller, eating healthily so we feel and look beautiful, choosing work we love which brings us joy, and making others’ lives more beautiful through love and thoughtful actions.
My understanding of beauty is that it’s individual, that it gathers power alongside other qualities – like kindness, compassion, and inner strength – and that it cannot be dictated by anyone. Beauty is most transformative when it’s positive.

True beauty is a beautiful soul.
Really, it’s about turning theory into practice. I value beauty, so I include it and create it throughout the course of every day. In my daily life, if I’m going to chew it, it’s got to taste great. If I’m going to wear it, it must feel like me. If I’m going to bring it into my home, it must be beautiful. I’m ruthlessly passionate about editing my life, which includes editing my words, thoughts, clothes, and relationships so that they create fulfillment and excitement.
