trust

I trust life. Trusting myself has been my challenge. I’ve learned to accept this challenge with grace and ease. Challenge is Contrast Having A Lens to Let me Evolve into New Growth Experiences.
My purpose is to be a vessel of ancestral wisdom, inspiring women through education. Each act of saying Yes to life dares me to trust that experiences are my teachers, equipping me with tools needed to craft my vessel.
My child mind comprehended trust and purpose on a basic level. A young girl allowed to thrive in her innocence can easily form ideas around her life’s purpose. Trusting life is easy for her. The challenge is to maintain her innocence and trust herself as she grows self, in spite of others.
Children are told No a lot. I respected No when it was meant to protect or guide me. I was able to discern when No was coming from someone else’s fears, and in those cases No was translated in my mind to “not ready for this opportunity.” I learned to say Yes anyway.
I fearlessly played with the ideas of leadership and empowerment as a young girl, facilitating learning for others. As a teenager I learned how to function with the ABC’s of life: acceptance, belief, control (just to name a few). My twenties were a time of action research. Unleashed into the world, I put everything I’d learned into action while still learning and growing. I’d built a solid repertoire, and the vessel of my talents, gifts and skills was constructed.
Now in my thirties I design learning experiences that inspire women to say Yes to life. Many people choose to say Maybe instead of Yes, opting to Move Aside Yes Because it’s Easier. But Maybe’s delay goodness that can be experienced right now. Maybe’s live in the past (regret, shame) and in the future (worry, fear). To live the most meaningful life we must mentally live in the present. Each Yes right now takes you closer to the next experience.
Trust life. Trust the process.
Pay attention to what you pay attention to. Do this without judgment and see what comes up for you. Resist fear of being judged or criticized for your choices. Choose your Yes, not someone else’s. Life is always supporting us in ways that keep us aligned with our purpose. We just have to pay attention, trust and say yes.
