wholeness

What’s meaningful to me? Relationship and connection. First, with my own inner being — with my body, my soul, and with the Sacred in all life. These ripples of connection then spread out to include my family, friends and community. And further out, to embrace the soul of the earth and of the cosmos. And then out into the subtle energy realms where I have relationships with beings who hold the blueprint for the patterns that unfold to create and heal all forms of life on our planet.
In all that I do and am, I work consciously to be a source of love, truth and blessing.
What’s important to me? Living in a creative, playful, light-hearted way. Learning, growth. And sharing what I know, supporting all that I love in the process of becoming. This requires solitude and spaciousness as well as intimacy and connection.
What challenges me? Getting bogged down in separation, in the kind of seriousness that blocks creative flow. When this happens, it’s usually because my head is trying to run my life, disconnected from the rest of me. Then, I do whatever is needed to restore connection — with my body, my soul, and with the whole wild, beautiful, painful world around me. I work with energy and spirit, prayer and ceremony, to find my place once again in the great pattern of life. Physical movement – yoga, walking, dance, play – is for me a swift and certain pathway to transform a constricted heart into one that beats in harmony with the rhythms of spaciousness, breath and flow.
What supports me? A daily practice of meditation and prayer links me with my soul, with the Sacred, and with all the beings that form the ecology of my life. This restores the wholeness that holds the essence of my being in right relationship with all life.
