When I was 18, a mentor helped me create my first bucket list – a list of all the things I wanted to be, do, have, and share before I kicked the bucket.
When I finished writing, he scanned my list. He spread his index fingers about ten inches apart and said, “You are this close to everything on your list.” Then he placed his fingers on either side of my head, to show me that my brain is the key.
We went into his home library and he started handing me books – lots of self-improvement classics. Intimidated by the growing (and heavy) stack in my arms, I told him I didn’t have time to read everything and still keep up with my schoolwork. He said, “Don’t let school get in the way of your education.”
I returned to college, and after three days of juggling mid-terms and reading to improve my personal growth, I passed out from sheer mental and physical exhaustion. I woke up in a hospital bed, praying for a better way.
I realized that school is a great place for what to learn (math, science, history), but not always how to learn.
How do we remember, focus, and read faster? How do we use our brains ?
I’ve dedicated my life to discovering, creating, and sharing better ways for busy people to quicken their minds and catch up, keep up, and get ahead. Yes, Kwik really is my real last name. You could say I was born for this.
In today’s fast-paced information age, mind has replaced muscle. Knowledge is not only power, it’s profit. And not just financial profit, but all the treasures of your life.
As an example, one of my very first students, motivated to help her terminally ill mother, speed-read over 30 health and wellness books in one month … just in time to save her mother’s life.
I’ve dedicated my life to helping people unlock more of their true potential, to helping them live the life they desire and deserve, and to helping them make a difference to the people around them.
