For most of my life I was beset by chronic health problems, such as migraines and allergies. I’d resigned myself to living with those problems for the rest of my life. In fact, I thought it was part of the aging process, although I was convinced that, in my case, the aging was premature.
Then, about ten years ago, I started coming across books that contradicted what I’d come to accept. I discovered that I was responsible for my health and well-being. It was then that I chose to take responsibility for the quality of my life. Taking responsibility for my own body has led to success in living a healthier and happier life.
When I feel that I’m not making any headway in whatever it is I’m set on doing, I use meditation and music to get back on track. Music has the ability to raise me to a joyous state where I feel that anything I do will be successful and that anything is possible. It also has the ability to put me into a calm and meditative mood.
Meditation really helps me when I feel lost with no sense of direction. It balances and centers me. It allows me to come up with new ideas I can follow through on, or new solutions to difficult problems. Meditation helps me find my sense of purpose.
For a long time, I believed I was an atheist, mainly because of events in my life that made me question the existence of God. Now I know better and am concentrating on my spiritual development. My hope is to have a friendship with God. That’s what I’m passionate about.
