prevention

My true calling is to be of service as a doctor. When I work, I address body and soul to lead patients back to wholeness. I help patients see and recognize their true selves as a prism of light and shadow. We tend to ignore our dark sides and pretend they don’t exist. The truth is, after we confront our shadows our healing process accelerates.
When I started my career as a brain surgeon, I couldn’t have known that my path would lead me here. Back then, I was surrounded by frustration, sadness, anger, and a longing for connection. My journey to understand that longing led me through different specialties. I discovered that conventional medical training is very disconnected. I was taught a ton of facts about the organs, yet next to nothing about the connection between body and soul.
What is the language of the soul? How does it relate to our bodies? Ancient medical systems understand the relationship between the material and non-material worlds. I studied Chinese medicine and finally found a place for all the diverse and divergent knowledge I’d acquired.
I started listening to my body and my emotions. I surrendered to my senses and took the path my body wanted me to follow. That’s how I learned to use my senses and my innate clairvoyance as a tool in treatment.
Life became easier. I’ve discovered that the more open I become, the more people trust me. Just being myself – without pretence – is enough.
We live our lives tightly closed off from our senses and intuitions, then we wonder why it’s all so hard. We make the mistake of hiding our true colors from one another, and become sick from it.
It’s time to live our lives differently. We can make the choice to express our true natures and reveal our authentic selves. I believe that’s the best prevention there is.
