When I was 25, I was hitting bottom, looking for happiness and guidance in all the wrong places. As a result of that failing outward search, I had no other choice but to turn inward. Luckily for me, when I hit bottom I heard my inner voice say, “Get your act together and you’ll have everything you want.” Ever since then, I’ve been listening. My work is to help others do the same.
Being connected to my inner guidance system allows love, rather than fear, to lead me. It’s an internal compass to a greater source. That loving voice keeps me connected to a higher purpose and a miracles mind-set.
Every day is an opportunity to get closer to that inner voice. As a teacher and student, my real work is to be a miracle worker and take action daily to shift perception toward becoming one with that inner guidance system.
The more I practice the principles, the closer I get to that voice of inner guidance being the only voice. I tune in through meditation and prayer and also by checking in when I’m not connected to that voice. Then I call out and use my internal compass to recalibrate and re-connect to that guidance system.
What often happens is we do something and then realize we don’t like that we did it. And we feel bad about it. We start getting down on ourselves. The real work is in being compassionate towards ourselves – not letting the ego jerk the ego around. It’s important to forgive. Just say, “Okay. I don’t want to do that anymore,” and next time try to do something you like better.
