harmony

Harmony between people is most meaningful to me. As someone who’s managing the outcome of the genocide, I find that unity and the continuation of my people are extremely important to me.
I was personally in the genocide and in the conflict and since then I’ve been in charge of managing the divided families, attending to the needs of our people, and building harmony in our country and among my people.
For me, being in harmony means building trust among people and showing them they can communicate and live together and trust one another. Harmony and unity are the foundation of strong communities and the basics of building stronger societies. They’re much needed in destroyed communities like mine.
In my own life, harmony is a passion of belief. My vision and my personal commitment is to build harmony among the people I meet. It’s the motivation for what I do. It’s become my preoccupation and my personal mission. In everything I do – in the way I live with myself, the way I live with my colleagues at work, the way I live with the population I lead – I’m very conscious of living in and establishing harmony and trust. It’s what drives me.
