The idea to put together my book came to me shortly after a long spell of feeling very depressed. I had given up my business, running an expatriate magazine in Spain, and decided to have a little time off until something else showed up. But nothing did. I was desperate to know my purpose and calling in life, to the point where I’d often curl up into a ball on the sofa and cry.
Then one day I reached that rock bottom moment where I looked up and asked God for help. The very next day a series of synchronistic events sparked, which led me to having cellular healing sessions. Cellular healing releases emotional energy which has been stored in the cells as a result of negative events in this lifetime and past lifetimes, leading to an inner de-clutter and a greater connection with Source. My core belief system on an energetic level was literally reprogrammed and as a result, I manifested a new reality, living a life of purpose.
I put together a book in order to raise money for seven charities. It’s called The Light: A Book of Wisdom. Now all of my time and effort is spent spreading the word about The Light, in a bid to meet a one million dollar goal for the chosen charities. One hundred percent of the net profit from book sales will be donated to these charities, most of which have a focus on helping and supporting children. That’s the Greater Vision for the entire project: to provide and support spiritual education for children.
One of the signs that encouraged me on my journey was that I kept seeing white butterflies everywhere as I went about my day. They turned up in the most bizarre places and would follow me along the beach, appear in shop windows, and even on handbags! The morning I awoke to see dozens of them fluttering around in my awareness was the day I knew that a white butterfly was destined to be the book’s branding. That’s why one white butterfly appears on the front cover.
I can say from my heart that I know that this book is a part of my life purpose and soul contract. My unique way of contributing to the Earth at this time of great enlightenment and discovery.
